FEM showcased Prática Speed Ovens at the Catering Innovation Show 2026 in London, bringing the range directly to professionals from across the UK catering sector.
Held on October 5 at the Business Design Centre, the show gathered manufacturers, suppliers and operators, with over 70 exhibitors presenting equipment and technologies for commercial kitchens.
At stand 52M, FEM Development and Training Chef Nathan Osborne demonstrated the Prática range and discussed how high-speed cooking can be incorporated into different menus and workflows.
Prática Europe was represented by Henk Groot Roessink, Regional Manager Europe and Middle East, whose participation alongside FEM connected the company directly with partners and professionals attending the show.
FEM and its role in the UK
Based in East Kilbride, Scotland, Foodservice Equipment Marketing, FEM, has represented international manufacturers in the British catering sector since 1993.
The company supplies solutions for different areas of commercial kitchens and works closely with dealers and operators throughout the country, combining local market knowledge with a broad portfolio of global brands.
In 2025, FEM became Prática’s Master Distributor for Speed Ovens in the UK.
Since then, the company has taken the range to customers through its dealer network, culinary demonstrations, training, support and participation in industry exhibitions.
This close relationship with businesses is an important part of FEM’s wider activity. Its team helps customers understand how equipment can fit their menus, production requirements and daily routines, connecting manufacturers with the needs of the British market.
Prática Speed Ovens in action
FEM’s Development and Training Chef Nathan Osborne works closely with customers, demonstrating Prática Speed Ovens and helping them explore their capabilities across different menus and foodservice operations.
At the Catering Innovation Show, visitors could see this approach firsthand while exploring Prática Speed Ovens and discussing their potential for different types of businesses.
The range combines microwave and impinged hot air technologies to shorten cooking and finishing times while delivering consistent results.
Compact dimensions and ventless operation also expand installation possibilities in locations where space or extraction infrastructure may be limited.
The London show was another opportunity to see the collaboration between Prática and FEM in action, combining our high-speed cooking technology with FEM’s knowledge of the British sector and close relationships with its customers.
We thank the entire FEM team for the outstanding work they continue to do in bringing Prática solutions to foodservice businesses across the UK.
